+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #18383 +++

https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15628 for Branch 5.0:

Ctrl-arrows don't work in:

Terminal from xfce4-terminal-0.2.8.3-alt1 (but /etc/skel/.config/xfce4/helpers.rc from xfce-settings-lite-1.0-alt7 is smart enough to prefer the nice urxvt)

Terminal-0.2.12-alt2, too

konsole from kdebase-wm-3.5.10-alt10

konsole from kde4base-konsole-4.2.4-alt0.M50.1

xterm-241-alt1

gnome-terminal-2.26.1-alt1

They work (jump over words) in:

urxvt from rxvt-unicode-9.06-alt1

The system has:

setup-2.2.12-alt1
libreadline-5.2.11-alt2
