Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2013-02-02 17:06:21 MSK
(Since the package releases are the same in p6 and t6, this wish about the behavior/configuration of transmission would also affect t6.)

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #28344 +++

transmission-gui-common-2.42-alt1
transmission-gtk-2.42-alt1
transmission-common-2.42-alt1

By default, when deleting downloaded files, transmission puts the deleted files into a special Trash directory. It fills up with huge files, and it is not limited/cleared automatically (for example, in Xfce, in Simply Linux).

There is actually an option (can be set in settings.json) to turn this behavior off -- https://trac.transmissionbt.com/changeset/12682 .

It would be convenient if there was a GUI option for this. Or if it was turned off by default.
