This division is quite inconvenient: this order is not logical. The logic should be: first, one decides which part of the filesystem tree one wants to store on the partition being created (i.e., decides on the mountpoint). *Depending on this*, one decides on the size and on the label. Also, the installer does a good job for a newby: it suggests the mountpoints for newly created partitions in a reasonable order (except for swap, see the other bugreport). But this feature turns out to be useless: the person must see beforehand which mountpoint is suggested for the partition he is creating in order to make a reasonable size and a reasonable label (and a reasonable filesystem type).
