But this would be a very handy thing in a LiveCD: to connect to an ad-hoc network, and to address other hosts by their names, which they advertise through zeroconf. The expected scenario is described in https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18291 ; this feature has two sides: in order to be tested on ALTLinux LiveCDs, https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18291 should also be fixed: ALTLinux systems (incl.
