Сканер:
Epson Perfection V19

Версия пакета:
kde5-digikam=7.10.0-alt2

В lsusb сканер отображается.

Шаги воспроизведения: 
1) Установить плагин non-free-plugin с оф. сайта: http://support.epson.net/linux/en/epsonscan2.php
2) Подключить сканер по usb к компьютеру.
3) Запустить приложение:
$ digikam
4) Выбрать сканер Epson Perfection V19 в найденных устройствах.

Ожидаемый результат: Успешное подключение к сканеру, есть возможность сканирования.

Фактический результат: Сканер не определяется в приложении. Ошибка подключения (см. вложение).

Проверялось на p10, ошибка воспроизводится.
