Шаги воспроизведения:
1. Установить пакеты:
# apt-get install -y alteratorctl alterator-service-samba-ad
2. Ввести сервер в существующий домен как новый dc
	Настроить dns:
	# SERV_IP=IP_контроллера_домена
	# DOMAIN=my.domain
	# hostnamectl set-hostname dc2.$DOMAIN
	# echo -e &quot;search_domains=$DOMAIN\nname_servers=$SERV_IP&quot; &gt;&gt; /etc/resovconf.conf &amp;&amp; resolvconf -u
	# reboot

	Ввести в домен:
	$ PASS=&lt;password&gt;
	$ NETBIOSNAME=MY
	$ REALM=my.domain
	$ DC_IP=IP_контроллера_домена

	$ alteratorctl services deploy service-samba-ad --mode.join.adminPassword=$PASS --backendStore=tdb --dnsSettings.dnsBackend=SAMBA_INTERNAL --dnsSettings.forwarders.1=$DC_IP --functionalLevel=2008_R2  --mode=join --mode.join.adminLogin=administrator --mode.join.ipAddressDc=$DC_IP --mode.join.serverRole=dc --netBiosName=$NETBIOSNAME --realm=$REALM  --siteName=Default-First-Site-Name --useRfc2307=false

3. Запустить сервис и проверить, что ввод в домен успешный:
$ alteratorctl services start service-samba-ad
$ alteratorctl services list
# net ads testjoin

4. Остановить сервис: 
$ alteratorctl services stop service-samba-ad

5. Сконфигурировать параметры домена, например dns: 
$ alteratorctl services configure service-samba-ad --dnsSettings.forwarders.0=8.8.8.8 --dnsSettings.dnsBackend=SAMBA_INTERNAL

Результат:

Ожидаемый результат: запрос на проведение изменений

Ошибка также проявляется, даже если команда задана с неправильными параметрами, например:
