when I press any key on mouse its cursor moves to screen border.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.prform &apos;service hotplug restart&apos;
2.press mouse button
Actual Results:

    <thetext>Could you be more verbose on hotplug and kernel versions (at lease `uname -r`),
 mouse type (ps2, usb, ...), where does this occur (X, console)?

In case of linux-2.4, it might make sense to try linux-2.6 (compact-3.0+); in
case of console, you should restart gpm service.  With X, I can only suggest
checking that it&apos;s linux-2.6 and that mouse device in xorg.conf is
&quot;/dev/input/mice&quot;.

Don&apos;t recall such things myself.</thetext>
