Most common shell control keys are translated to the shell through Emacs by prepending them with C-c. This works both in M-x shell and M-x eshell. But C-c C-d doesn't work in eshell. :(

How to reproduce:

M-x eshell

type something in the prompt, C-c C-a (it works: Home), C-c C-e (OK: End), C-c C-u (OK: clear the input), C-c C-d

Result: nothing happens.
Expected: the shell exits (as it would work in M-x shell).
