При старте iptraf пишет:
Warning: unable to tag this process
Press Enter to continue.

далее при выборе интерфейса тоже появляется сообщение об ошибке.
Это проявление того, что нет директории [/var]/run/iptraf (в rpm она есть, но это [/var]/run теперь - tmpfs).

Там выкручиваются таким вот файликом:
[root@centos7 ~]# cat /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/iptraf-ng.conf
d /run/iptraf-ng 0755 root root -
