This is well known story. binutils and gdb live in the same cvs tree, and each binutils/gdb release contains own libbfd/libiberty/... snapshot. I packaged gdb with -lbfd from binutils some time ago, but later decided not to waste my time because sometimes gdb works better with own libbfd snapshot. |
