%make_build || make

chicken-4.1.0-alt2.1 собирается ~11 минут на x86 в не более чем один поток
и около двух часов на e2k; предлагаю по возможности распараллелить.

Примечание: в федоре 5.0.0 и он точно так же собирается там в один поток:

В качестве затычки можно применить приложенный патч, это сокращает время сборки
на x86_64 в семь-восемь раз.
