Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2008-10-24 19:00:19 MSD
Lite 4.0.3

They tried to provide various ways to play the video http://www.gnu.org/fry/ with free software in the browser -- http://www.fsf.org/blogs/community/OggOnTheRise (either with a special player or through a Java applet).

But neither works in Lite 4.0.3.

Neither the installed video players (xine?) have been setup by default to play video as Firefox plugins (in a Sisyphus system, vlc serves me for this purpose), nor a Java plugin has been installed (https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17672 ; it's quite strange: installing the big java-1.6.0-sun. but not the small plugin).

Lite 4.0.3 is not GNU friendly.
