Столкнулся с те, что после установки режим gnome-classic запускается только один раз, после чего всегда стартует gnome-shell, не зависимо от того что выбрано в gdm. Ставил starter-kit. Такое впечатление что classic не может запуститься, а потом переключается на default.

starter-kit's на p7. На сизифе не воспроизводится.
