Репозиторий клонируется, но переключиться на HEAD коммит не получается. Ветки тоже не показывает.

сделал:
$ git checkout bd53bdea28480f2aeb785e803021dd9e18b4b976
$ git checkout -b v1.10.3-alt1
$ git branch
* v1.10.3-alt1

Там просто ветки master нет. После clone сделайте

git checkout -b sisyphus origin/sisyphus.
