Необходимо собрать с lua5.3, так как при обновлении пакет lua5 автоматом заменяется на lua 5.3, и программы зависящие от wxlua перестают запускаться.

Единственным потребителем wxlua является ZeroBraneStudio. Как оказалось, последний хочет работать только с lua 5.1
Так что в нынешнем виде (неправильно пересобранный Игорем) он вполне подходит. Новая версия ZeroBraneStudio прилетит, когда починят #22294
