Рассмотрел ситуацию. Автор node_semver повёл себя некорректно, сделав название репозитория на github такое же как у оригинального semver: python-semver, а также название модуля semver своего пакета node-semver совпадающим с названием модуля пакета semver.

Об этом есть жалоба:
https://github.com/podhmo/python-semver/issues/39

Посмотрю на тесты. Если различий не увижу, node_semver удалю.
