В пакете deadbeef есть файл /usr/share/doc/deadbeef-1.8.4/help.txt с английской справкой, но нет /usr/share/doc/deadbeef-1.8.4/help.ru.txt, который можно найти по адресу 

https://github.com/DeaDBeeF-Player/deadbeef/blob/master/translation/help.ru.txt

Без  него в русской локали попытка открыть меню Справка/Справка выдает сообщение о недостающем файле.
