В файле /usr/share/applications/hyperrogue.desktop в полe Comment[ru] содержится текст с кодировкой Windows-1251, поэтому он выглядит следующим образом:

> Comment[ru]=Roguelike-ÉÇÒÁ × ÎÅÅ×ËÌÉÄÏ×ÏÍ ÐÒÏÓÔÒÁÎÓÔ×Å

Должно быть:

> Comment[ru]=Roguelike-игра в неевклидовом пространстве
