Description hakerdefo 2023-07-23 20:19:44 MSK
cryfs package (fuse-cryfs) in ALT Sisyphus is at version 0.9.11 and it is not
compatible with the latest cryfs versions (0.11 & later) as it doesn't have
support for XChaCha20-Poly1305 cipher which is default in the later versions of
cryfs. Because of this, I'm not able to decrypt files encrypted on the other machine running Debian bookworm. This almost makes cryfs unusable in ALT Sisyphus and it also make it incompatible with other distributions.
Please update the cryfs (fuse-cryfs) to latest version so it can be compatible
with other Linux distributions.
