При установке пакета maxima-common также отображаются предупреждения:

> install-info: warning: no info dir entry in `./symplectic_ode.info'
> install-info: warning: no info dir entry in `./maxima-index-html.lisp'

wxMaxima также сообщает об этой ошибке (см. скриншот):

> Message from maxima's stderr stream: WARNING: Maxima is unable to set up the help system.
> (Details: CL-INFO::LOAD-PRIMARY-INDEX: Couldn't load "/usr/share/maxima/5.47.0/doc/./maxima-index-html.lisp": file does not exist.)

Описанное поведение воспроизводится на виртуальных машинах:

Разница между alt1 и alt2 только release и changelog. Мне кажется, Вы что-то потеряли.

Ошибка всё ещё воспроизводится, и по прежнему может быть исправлена переносом  /usr/share/info/maxima-index-html.lisp в /usr/share/maxima/5.47.0/doc/.
