Тем более для него все есть
samba-tool gpo backup --tmpdir=/path/to/backup {GPOUUID}

Можно вопрос с этим закрыть. Выяснилось, что в самбе 4.16 все это не работает толком. Только в 4.19

Пункт который вы просите добавить относится к ADMC не к GPUI. Пока закрываю эту задачу.
