Предлагаю отказаться от xdg-su, так как повышение привилегий таким способом устарело. Каждое приложение должно само повышать свои привилегии или запускаться через специальный скрипт с вызовом pkexec с определёнными переменными окружения.
С удалением beesu запускать в общем-то будет и нечем.
В Debian, Ubuntu и Fedora xdg-su убрали.
