Для make-initrd  2.55.1-alt2 в /usr/share/make-initrd/guess/device-tree/action
в строке 28 опечатка в имени переменной:
    modialias_file="${uevent%/uevent}/modalias"
      ^^^
- должно быть modalias_file, судя по строкам 31 и 69.

Как следствие, сейчас при выполнении кода выдаётся ошибка вида

/usr/share/make-initrd/guess/device-tree/action: line 31: modalias_file: unbound variable
