Как это выглядит

Версия пакета: branding-simply-linux-menu-11.0.900-alt1

В случае, если в системе установлены pavucontrol и pwvucontrol одновременно, то в меню приложений есть два с одинаковым названием. Хотя с последними изменениями в профиле такое возможно только если сам пользователь установит pavucontrol.

Шаги воспроизведения:
1) Открыть меню приложений и перейти в категорию Аудио и Видео

Фактический результат:
В меню находятся два регулятора громкости с одинаковым названием.

В https://git.altlinux.org/gears/b/branding-simply-linux.git?p=branding-simply-linux.git;a=commitdiff;h=2fd0a328091ad67e9f71aed1c64c2aa8ea3b70ac для pavucontrol было добавлено явное упоминание PulseAudio.
Для корректной работы в /menu/applications/org.pulseaudio.pavucontrol.desktop нужно также привести секции GenericName к значению секций Name.
