Before running drakconf, Russian letters are there (linux console). After just starting it and pressing \"Cancel\", the console gets spoilt. Russian letters can\'t be viewed any more.

This doesn\'t depend on whether drakconf is started in C locale or ru_RU.KOI8-R, or whether under root login session or from a user session by means of consolehelper or sudo.

$ LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R date
$ drakconf
# check again -- we get pseudographics.
$ LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R date
