trying to stream from spdif on via8237 using alsa. When i start it whith: isec2 
/etc/ices-alsa.xml there's an error arising: 
EROR input/input_loop Couldn't initialise input module "alsa" 
this is the only string, seems like alsa has not been compiled in

Seems like you are right.

fixed in 2.0.1-alt2.
