To make vieweing local files from the current path easier, add ./* pattern for the \&quot;file\&quot; protocol.

Посему надо закрыть.
Кроме того нынче есть единый для всех xdg-open.

Ну раз за 17 лет не исправили - ждать исправления бессмысленно, к тому же действительно есть вполне удобный xdg-open.
