Во-первых в справке по F1 на параметры загрузки относящиеся к splash опечатки.
Во-вторых надо вообще с этими splash= определиться.
Я не увидел разницы между splash=0 и splash=verbose, а splash=silent вроде как 
с виду равно умолчательному поведению. Так зачем тогда про него писать.
