# apt-get remove cups

I dont have any printer and I do not need need cups.
However, removing cups is going to remove parts of ghostscript and even
latex2html!

Какая именно зависимость снесла крышу apt'у?

ghostscript и cups вообще имеют связь друг с другом, но вроде как ещё недавно
можно было установить ghostscript + libcups.

$ rpm -qR latex2html |grep ghost
ghostscript >= 5.50
$

Why have you moved from ghostcript+libcups to ghostscript+cups?
