Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2008-01-16 19:15:34 MSK
gnome-applets-mixer-2.20.0-alt1

I added a volume applet to a panel in GNOME. As I am adjusting the volume level
by using the mousewheel or the scrollbar from the applet, the displayed "hint"
about the volume level is not updated correctly: it is always one step behind
the actual value.

(A workaround, which I use: move the mouse pointer from side to side, then the
value is updated.)
Steps to Reproduce:
1.add a volume applet to a panel
2.move the pointer over it
3.wait until a "hint" like "Master: 45%" is displayed
4.decrease the volume by scrolling the mousewheel
5.do it until the applet shows the volume is muted (a red cross)
Actual Results:
the hint doesn't display the new volume level, it is one step behind, i.e.:
after the first step, it remains "Master: 45%"; when the volume is muted, it is
"Master: 3%".

Expected Results:
after the first step, the displayed value is also decreased; when the volume
reaches the mute level, it is "Master: muted".
