I started a data DVD project and started writing it onto a DVD+RW. First, the DVD+RW was being cleaned/erased, and after that k3b interrupted with an error like "unable to erase DVD+RW" and ejected the tray. Then I inserted the tray back, and k3b happily continued, now with the stage of writing the data. 

So, everything worked, but with an interruption in between (ab error message and and ejecting the tray), which isn't nice.
