For example, "man fc-list" refers to /usr/share/doc/fontconfig/fontconfig-user.html , but the actual path has a version in it:

$ ls  /usr/share/doc/fontconfig*/fontconfig-user.html
/usr/share/doc/fontconfig-2.6.0/fontconfig-user.html
$
