gnome-applets-mixer-2.22.1-alt1

Now the applets created by gnome-applets-mixer suggest to select a track to control. (Example: "Master", "Headphone", "PCM", etc.) But all these track are "volume levels".

But there are actually more useful controls. Look onto gnome-volume-control: the tracks visible by gnome-volume-control include also tracks of another type: "discrete" switches (on/off). Example: "Microphone Capture", "Mic Boost" etc.)

I would like the applets to be able to be associated with such switches as well.

For example, I used to frequently switch "Mic Boost" on or off. It would be convenient, if could be done quickly (by the applet).

So, an applet should either be associated with a continuous value (volume level) or with a discrete switch (then it would have a different look, of course).

Since further development of gnome-applets-mixer has been apparently discontinued, this bug, I'm afraid, is WONTFIX.
