What about adding \"-p\" option? What about adding \"-p\" option? Does it work already? It is not described in the man-page. Does it work already? It is not described in the man-page. I agree if a new option that does it was named \'-p\'. I agree if a new option that does it was named \'-p\'. Starting with SysVinit-2.85, "shutdown -h" tries to do poweroff.
