+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #19160 +++

Desktop 4.1 (KDE)

It would be nice if on an X login (KDE), there would start an ssh-agent or an analogue which would keep the used unlocked SSH keys. (There is smth like this in Gnome, it's convenient.)

How to reproduce:

log into KDE, ssh somewhere with a password-protected key. It asks you for the password. Ssh once again -- it again asks you for the password.

Expected: there is an agent which keeps the unlocked keys.

(A similar FR for Xfce: https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19160 .)

An ssh-agent is really expected from a comfortable DE.
