Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2009-06-03 23:42:32 MSD
pine-4.64L-alt5
rxvt-unicode-9.02-alt1

In any place where editing is performed (parameters in the status line or composing a message), the cursor is not visible in pine in urxvt.

Probably, the reason is simply a mismatch in colors: rxvt has white background and a black cursor; and pine has black background, so the cursor is invisible.

Workaround: use another terminal, e.g., xterm-235-alt1 (also has white background by default, but nevertheless the cursor is visible in pine).
Comment 2 Ivan Zakharyaschev 2009-06-04 22:13:46 MSD
In a sense, this is a consequence of ALT's customization: with ALT's /etc/pine.conf even ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/updates/8/i386.newkey/alpine-2.00-1.fc8.i386.rpm demonstrates this problem.

But since the problem is observed only in urxvt, and not in xterm, this probably means that (al)pine's drawing code has to be fixed to work well with such customization even in urxvt.

В 4.1/branch исправления не будут вноситься уже технически (заглушена очередь на сборку), поэтому прошу ошибки, актуальные для sisyphus/p7/t7, перевесить на текущие ветки или сизиф.
