Hi,
The OpenOffice in Brazil by problem of copyright need use the name of "BrOffice", we need make a script to installation of pt_br change the name of openoffice.org package to broffice.org

OR
add the broffice package (not recommend, by being equal openoffice and broffice)

How other distributions (Debian, Fedora, Mandriva) solve this issue? Mandriva must have some solution, since they are French-Brazilian.

I doubt it's the binary and/or package name that would cause THE problem.  Splash screen is way more visible, and desktop file contents too.  It's also more probably not a copyright but a trademark issue (completely different stuff).

All in all, it's probably up to you Fernando to study the situation and quite probably fork the OOo package or at least propose the changes.

Closing this bug, because, seems it's not actual anymore. If there are problems with LibreOffice, you can open a new bug for it.
