/usr/bin/surfraw-netscape-remote contains explicit netscape call.
Also, /etc/surfraw.conf explicitly configured to use this utility
(surfraw-netscape-remote) for running netscape in the background.

Using url_handler.sh script from the urlview package is perhaps one of the most convenient ways to solve this problem now.
