Since seamonkey-1.1.18-alt1 sees ark as the default association for .zip, I assume it's a problem of Thunar, not a general problem of kde4utils-ark. KDE4 лежит в нестандартном месте, поэтому нельзя рассчитывать, что кто-то не из KDE4 сможет связать mime-type с прогой от KDE4 К Thunar это никак не относится, а относится к дополнению Thunar-archive-plugin от которого я оторвал поддержку ark (дабы не тянуло за собой половину KDE). |
kde4utils-ark-4.3.3-alt0.M51.1 Thunar-1.0.1-alt2 I have installed kde4utils-ark (and removed file-roller and xarchiver from the system). If I click on a .zip file in Thunar now, it suggests to select an application ("Открыть с помощью" dialog), but "ark" is even not in the list. It makes using ark more difficult: one has to type "/usr/lib/kde4/bin/ark" manually in this dialog. Ideally, Thunar should not show this dialog, but see ark as the default association for archives (.zip) if there are no file-roller or xarchiver installed.
