Installation of system tables failed!

Examine the logs in /var/lib/mysql/log for more information.
You can also try to start the mysqld daemon with:
/usr/sbin/mysqld --skip-grant &
You can use the command line tool
/usr/bin/mysql to connect to the mysql
database and look at the grant tables:

shell> /usr/bin/mysql -u root mysql
mysql> show tables

Try 'mysqld --help' if you have problems with paths. Using --log
gives you a log in /var/lib/mysql/log that may be helpful.

Да, я тоже не понял, откуда оно взяло skip-bdb.
P.S. Два отдельных бага точно нужно?

Почему-то не сработал триггер обновления.
 /var/lib/mysql/my.cnf в студию

А что в /etc/sysconfig/mysqld?

да, я уже нашёл. Попробуй удалить --skip-bdb и запустить. Если всё хорошо - я сейчас запатчу.

Там ещё в /usr/sbin/mysql_migrate затесалось --skip-bdb.
