PS: если хочется быстрее -- 5.2.4 есть в autoports:

5.2.5 вышел и отправляется в сизиф, просьба обкатать на своих задачах, когда появится в autoports (или пересобрав локально).  5.2.4 у меня в работе уже некоторое время и претензий по нему нет.

Итак, я хочу обновить monit в p5. Инструкция говорит, что правильно просить обновить из 5.1, поэтому я просил вас отправить пакет из сизифа в 5.1.

Хочу я следующее:
1. В p5 сейчас версия 5.0.3, при этом в примерах конфигов у проверок стоит по нескольку групп, хотя эта функциональность появилась только в 5.1, если верить ченджлогу.
2. Ещё я хотел бы проверку свободного места в swap, которая появилась в 5.2.

p5 у нас стабильный репозиторий, поэтомы бало бы более логично пересобрать 5.2.4 для 5.1 и скопировать его в p5, а потом отправить 5.2.5 в сизиф. Но, как я понимаю, уже поздно.

Уже давно поздно, как минимум libssl разная и копирование бы не прошло.

Поэтому проверяйте на вкус 5.2.5 (уже) из autoports.  Особой разницы с 5.2.4 быть не должно, в основном багфиксы: http://mmonit.com/monit/dist/CHANGES.txt

Надо же, у меня появилась увесистая причина обновить monit в бранчах до 5.2.3+:
в r308 исправили тест памяти для ядер 2.6.32-ovz, ранее каждый цикл спамил:
