Description Mikhail Zabaluev 2003-07-17 01:42:11 MSD 
I open two files in the shell-script mode.
The first I open from the command line.
The second, I open in a new frame via C-x f.
The comment face font in the first frame is italic,
while in the second frame it is regular.

хммм, это именно два фрейма?
сделайте rpm -qa|grep emacs|grep -v xemacs
