(Since p6 and t6 have the same version of alterator-vm--which is used in the installer I assume--this wish would also affect t6.)

It would be nice if it was possible to install a distro on nilfs partitions. 

alterator-vm is the component that should be modified to add this possibility, isn't it?

Not sure if it's feasible/reasonable, did you actually test that with any sort of manual installation? (and such FRs belong to sisyphus anyways)
