Русский man на apt.conf
Пакет:
$ rpm -qf /etc/apt/apt.conf
apt-0.5.15lorg2-alt42.M70P.1

$ man apt.conf | col -bfx | sed -n '130p'
специальным  словом  DIRECT  означающим,  что прокси использовать не недо.

В смысле написано:
"не недо"

вместо:
"не надо"
