После обновления java-пакетов некоторые файлы сменили свои имена и местоположение. Ну и может быть версию заодно повысить.

$ scilab

При загрузке библиотек Java были некоторые проблемы.
Это может привести к неожиданному поведению.
Проверьте SCI/etc/classpath.xml.

Check if the thirdparties are available (JoGL/JRosetta...).
See SCI/etc/classpath.xml for default paths.

Версию давно не могу повысить из-за проблем сборки новых gluegen2/jogl2.

У меня 5.5.2-alt1 с прилагаемым патчем собрался и вроде работает (с учётом #33025).
