Из journal:
Cannot read config file /etc/sssd/sssd.conf. Please check that the file is accessible only by the owner and owned by root.root.
sssd.service: Control process exited, code=exited status=4
Failed to start System Security Services Daemon.

# ls -l /etc/sssd/sssd.conf
-rw-r----- 1 root _sssd 1909 сен 15 13:53 /etc/sssd/sssd.conf

Видимо нужно либо патчить эту проверку, либо менять права на файл как хочет демон.

Именно эта проблема с запуском sssd исправлена.
