Нужно пересобрать с --enable-user-session , иначе

$ dbus-update-activation-environment --systemd --all
dbus-update-activation-environment: warning: error sending to systemd:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process org.freedesktop.systemd1
exited with status 1

Попробовал. С --enable-user-session то же самое.

Не воспроизводится:
$ dbus-update-activation-environment --systemd --all && echo OK
OK

Версия пакета:
dbus-1.14.4-alt2 (Сизиф)
dbus-1.12.18-alt1 (p10)
