Установлен mysql  5.5.54-alt0.M80P.1 (ALT)
Установлен ejabberd-extra-2.1.13-alt1, ejabberd-2.1.13-alt1
После настройки ejabberd.cfg
выполняем:
[root@server-jabber opt]# echo "GRANT ALL ON jabber2017.* TO 'jabuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '123';" | mysql -h localhost -u root
[root@server-jabber opt]# echo "CREATE DATABASE jabber2017;" | mysql -h localhost -u jabuser -p
Enter password: 
[root@server-jabber opt]# mysql -h localhost -D jabber2017 -u jabuser -p < mysql2.1.13.sql
Enter password: 
[root@server-jabber opt]# ejabberdctl start
[root@server-jabber opt]# ejabberdctl status
The node 'ejabberd@server-jabber' is starting with status: started
ejabberd is not running in that node
Check for error messages: /var/log/ejabberd/ejabberd.log
or other files in that directory.
