Такое ощущуение, что Chromium 61 в p8 работает медленнее, чем, например, в Ubuntu.
Ядро вне подозрения, драйвер amdgpu  обоих случаях.
Новейший Google Chrome 69 - аналогично.

Возможно, мне кажется.

Под подозрением LLVM 4.0, который старее, чем 5.0 и 6.0.
