При ежедневном обновлении через Discover не смог провести обновление, ошибка:

Blocked executable in the ESP, ensure grub and shim up to date: no volumes of type c12a7328-f81f-11d2-ba4b-00a0c93ec93b

Аналогично выдаст 
# fwupdtool esp-list --verbose

В Discover lvfs отмечен как репозиторий по умолчанию.
Система загружается успешно, иных проблем с EFI диском обнаружено не было.

Вообще нам, наверное, dbx вообще противопоказан.

У меня тоже dbx приехал. Ща попробую.

На Сизифе обновилось. Теперь Discover говорит, что обновлений нет.
